Wormhole is a board game inspired by Pachisi, a game from ancient India. Even though there are many differences, players still need a mixture of strategy and luck to win. This combination keeps game play fresh and interesting.
In Wormhole, each player has four planets (game markers) which they must orbit around the sun (move around the board) before their opponent can achieve the same goal. There is a wormhole that connects opposite sides of the solar system (game board), however, the conditions need to be right for the wormhole to be used.
Many things can happen during the game. Planets can be bumped back to the start, a roll of 6 gives the player an extra turn, and the wormhole can cut travel distance in half. A short run of good or bad luck can change the tide of the game.
